₦9.65BN SPENT ON “HEALTH” IN GOV OTTI’S OFFICE IN 2.5 YEARS
According to Abia Government Financial Reports published on the government’s website, Governor Alex C. Otti spent ₦9.65 billion on health in his office in just 2.5 years, —not through the Ministry of Health, not through hospitals—but inside the Governor’s Office. See breakdown in the comments section
He also spent the sum of N38bn on building and renovating non-existent hospitals in the state.
🛑 ₦8.2bn in 2024 for Construction of Hospitals — not one hospital built.
🛑 ₦29.8bn for Rehabilitation of Hospitals — no major renovation anywhere, except repainting ABSUTH and a small diagnostic centre in Umuahia.
As at today, Abia has no working hospital, no ambulance services, yet Governor Alex C. Otti has spent almost N50bn!
So let’s ask the only question that matters:
WHERE IS THE HOSPITAL IN HIS OFFICE?
N9.65billion can build:
🛑 2 world -class teaching hospitals or
🛑 9 smart schools, the type built by Peter Mbah of Enugu State
This looks like corruption with grammar.
This regime is fast becoming the most corrupt regime we have seen in Abia!
