As stated in Psalms 103 of the Holy Bible, acknowledging God’s grace in our lives is beneficial, and it is evident that He values individuals who show gratitude towards Him

January 1, 2025 will remain indelible in the heart of Prophetess Dr. Nmasinachi Mercy Ukakwe, the Senior Prophetess of Yahweh of Mercy Sabbath Mission and a trained surgeon, as friends from all walks of life gathered to celebrate the goodness of God in the life of their mentor, spiritual leader and benefactor.

The birthday soiree officially began with a grand opening featuring children’s funfair, singing, and dancing with an intriguing game called Chicken Challenge where participants were required to pick any number from 1-200 and win a roasted big Chicken, followed by a Slippery Walking Challenge where a participant would be blindfolded to walk on a slippery mat with over 500 gift items distributed

Afterwards, a special cup challenge game was organized, with each winner receiving a cash prize of 10,000 Naira for winners, in addition to other prizes.

The birthday party was a resounding success, with a large crowd of male and female attendees enthusiastically singing and dancing to the DJ’s danceable party songs, while quality T-shirts and cash gifts were awarded to the winners.

The grand finale of Dr. Jesus’ Birthday party initiated with an opening prayer led by Elder Dennis, who committed all activities to God’s almighty hands, thereby setting a sober and reflective tone for the assembly.

The celebrant’s beautiful cake was then cut in a ceremony marked by enthusiasm and unity, followed by group photography in a joyous atmosphere

Dignitaries were graciously and respectfully introduced, acknowledging the presence of everyone at the occasion

Prophetess Dr. Jesus as the revered woman of the God is fondly called, gave welcome remarks, expressing appreciation to attendees and stressing the significance of her birthday, which she customarily utilizes to support vulnerable groups, including children, orphans, widows and widowers.

Church members presented goodwill messages underscoring her laudable antecedents and her unwavering philanthropic gestures to humanity.

During her exclusive interview with journalists, she candidly expressed her thoughts, stating that she had not anticipated this massive turnout. Reflecting on her humble beginnings, she acknowledged that God had elevated her to a higher level.

“In my dual capacity as a medical practitioner and a Prophetess cum General Overseer of a church, I am thankful for God’s unrelenting favor in my life. Looking back, I vividly recall informing my father at the age of 7 of my ambition to become a Prophetess and a medical Doctor. By God’s grace, I have realized my childhood ambitions of becoming a Prophetess of the Most High God and a surgeon, and I remain grateful for God’s exceptional grace upon me and my family, said Dr. Ukakwe

“A further reason I will always revere the Most High God in my life is that God served as my pillar of strength during my formative years when I assumed responsibility for my academic development, successfully completing my education from elementary school to university level by the special grace of God, culminating in my graduation from Imo State University and subsequent training as a surgeon, she continued

“In contemporary Christendom, there is a prevalence of competition and ill feelings amongst some prophetesses, prophets, and general overseers. Nonetheless, as I have been called by God to pursue a dual calling of saving lives through medicine and spirituality, I am not deterred by any perceived competition. My calling, having been divinely ordained and orchestrated by God Almighty, has also become an integral part of our family’s spiritual heritage

“Determination is a crucial element of success, and when fully committed, one can achieve their goals in life. It is for this reason that I would like to advise young women who feel that life has not favored them or that they lack support from relatives to actualize their dreams. As a result, they often compromise their promising goals by engaging in unfulfilling relationships and other absurd behaviors. I am a living example of self-made individual having paid my way through the university to actualize my dreams and become a better person in life.

“To begin with, I’d like to shed some light on my background and the challenges I’ve faced. As the Daughter of a carpenter, I developed a sense of empathy for my father’s struggles when I was in JSS3 class. I approached him with the intention of contributing to our household through petty jobs, but he refused my assistance. This experience had a profound impact on me, and I resolved to work towards creating a better life for myself and supporting my father

“My humble dispositions towards life can be traced back to the period when I started assisting my father, a carpenter, in his workshop. In return for my services, he paid me an equivalent amount to what he paid his laborers, thereby teaching me the value of diligence and dignity of labour. This early exposure has played a significant role in shaping my profession as a medical doctor, in addition to imparting skills in various carpentry areas, including house roofing. I advise young ladies to seek out meaningful engagements, rather than engaging in activities that compromise their physical and moral well-being, which contradicts the principles of God Almighty.

“I can confidently attest that God has been instrumental in my success thus far as a medical doctor and surgeon, as well as a Minister, enabling me to support my parents and myself.

“My faith in God, who called me, remains unshaken because God has never disappointed me, and thus, I will continue to assert that serving God is a worthwhile endeavor” she concluded.

In his special remarks, the High Priest of the church and the celebrant’s first son, Chibuike Vincent Ukakwe eulogizes his mother as a multifaceted individual, a true Prophetess of God who heals the sick and offers solutions to numerous challenges through prayers and spiritual healings too; I hold my mother in high esteem and she will forever remain my role model, he said.

Thereafter, the master of ceremonies formally declared the dance floor open for the celebrant, and financial gifts were showered upon her, among other things.

The birthday party event reached its crescendo when Dr. Jesus delivered a sincere expression of gratitude, acknowledging the participation and support of all attendees, while the youths showcased their dancing prowess until evening.
