CAIM Gives Grants to Widows to Start business.
CAIM’s The Help Foundation Concludes Successful Arise Conference and gives 25 Widows grants to start business.
Lagos Nigeria – The Median edition of the Arise Conference, tagged “No Child Should Go Hungry in Africa,” recently concluded with great success. Organized by The Help Foundation of the Christian Association of Igbo Ministers (CAIM), the event brought together esteemed leaders and members of the Christian community.
The foundation’s generosity was evident as grants were awarded to widows to start their own businesses. Additionally, reading glasses were distributed to those in need, and a comprehensive medical outreach program was conducted. The widows also received food items to support their families.
Apostle Bala Success, a renowned speaker, graced the occasion with a powerful message. He emphasized the importance of remembering the needy in society and urged attendees to make a positive impact.
Rev. Chioma Adeoye advised the widows to wisely utilize the grants received, working hard to provide for their children. Rev. Mrs. Ngozi Erem, African Director of the foundation, reminded the audience in her speech ( I plead with each of us to accept that children are not alive and around us for our sake. In point of fact, we are the ones who are alive and around for the sake of the children. We should be the fertile soil upon which the comfort and well being of the children take root, flourish and blossom. Children are our responsibility, and we should strive to create a nurturing environment for them to thrive.
The Surulere coordinator of the association Amb. Henry Iwuchukwu expressed heartfelt gratitude to all supporters. The foundation also presented awards of appreciation to its matrons, including Evg. Chioma Adeoye, Mummy Success Okeke, Apostle Bala Success Abraham,
Apostle Mrs. Ugwubujo The National women coordinator of the Association, expressed her joy, saying, “Iwere CAIM, Iwere Favour” (“When you know CAIM, you will have Favour”), as she witnessed the widows departing with smiles on their faces, grateful for the support received.
