The elegant CEO of Eleganza Group of Industries and Yeye Aare of Lagos State, Chief (Mrs.) Shade Okoya and her iconic husband, the Aare of Lagos, High Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023 spared no cost in throwing a private but yet superlative once in a lifetime 80th birthday shindig for her dotting mother, Alhaja Nimota Shittu Adeleye .
The delectable boardroom guru together with her industrialist husband sure knows how best to pamper their guests to endless fun at their events and mama’s party enjoyed every bit of class, pomp and pageantry.
The golden birthday banquet which held inside the exquisitely magnificent Oluwanisola Estate of the Okoyas was cohosted by leading compares, Tunde Adewale (Tee A) and Gbenga Adeyinka and had in attendance cream de la cream of the society.
Amongst the special guests at the event are the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Engr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, his wife, Oluremi, the First Lady of Lagos State, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-olu, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Noimot Salako, the former governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Osoba, former Deputy Governor of Lagos, Princess Sarah Sosan, the Oba of Lagos State, HRM Oba Rilwan Akiolu ably represented by the White cap chiefs of Lagos and HRM, Oba Saheed Elegushi.

The epoch making birthday jig came to a crescendo when the celebrant and octogenarian, Alhaja Adeleye in company of her children and grandchildren danced after the cutting of the birthday cake.
Of course, when the Okoyas are playing host there must be plenty to eat and drink and mama’s birthday was no exception as guests were served different menus ranging from local delicacies to continental dishes with choice wines to accompany the food.
