GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Edo Gov Approved Constitution of Edo Carnival Planning Committee
The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State has approved the constitution of the Edo Carnival Planning Committee, to plan, organize and execute a befitting Carnival in the State. Membership of the Committee are as follow:
(i) Hon. Emmanuel Okoebor – Chairman
Commissioner for Finance
(ii) Hon. Dr Paddy Iyamu – Member
Commissioner for Education
(iii) Hon. Osiobughie Okhuemoi – Member
Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity
(iv) Mr. Jackson Isangofon Monday – Member
Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media
and Visual Communications
(v) Deborah Okunbo – Member
Managing Director,
Edo State Public Procurement Agency
(vi) Mosis Obakpolor – Secretary
Director of Protocol
Directorate of Government House and Protocol
The terms of reference of the Committee are as follow:
(i) To develop a comprehensive event plan.
(ii) To work in collaboration with the Lead Organisers of the Edo Carnival (Peak Rendezvous Entertainment Global Ltd), to ensure a smooth and befitting event.
(iii) To drive partnership and collaboration with stakeholders in the entertainment industry within and outside Edo State.
(iv) To liaise with well-meaning individuals and Corporate Organisations within and outside Edo State to secure sponsorships for the Carnival.
(v) To represent the interests of the Edo State Government in the planning and execution of the Carnival.
