It is only the mischief makers,, intellectual midgets and educated illiterates that will continue to query the constitutionality and morality needed for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola FCA YAYI to contest the Senate seat of Ogun West come 2023.

The legal ground and precedence is well scattered across the country, but irresponsible and unintelligent detractors would act as if such exist, but we won't hesitate to school them the more.

In 2006/2007, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing the people of Ifako Ijaiye moved hi voters card back to his home state, Osun, and despite holding the mandate of Ifako Ijaiye, he contested the senatorial seat of Osun East in 2007. No hurdles or any sort of derogatory campaign of calumny, maybe because he's not from Ogun West.

Also towards the end of Hon. Binta Masi Garba's second term in the Federal House of Representatives where he was representing Kaduna South Federal constituency in Kaduna State, the then Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna, having heard of her excellent performance as a legislator representing Kaduna South, entreated her to come back to her State of origin, Adamawa State, and contest. After making consultations, she consented and came down to contest for House of Representatives in Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency under PDP. She eventually won the seat and represented the constituency from 2007 to 2011. She even went ahead to contest the Senate seat of her senatorial district and she won convincingly.

Or should we also inform this wicked and bittered politicians that the legislator representing Ikeja Federal constituency today, Hon. James Faleke, while he was a member representing the people of Ikeja in the House of Representatives moved his Voters'Card to his home state, and contested as deputy governor of Kogi State?

Many other examples exist, or is it the RT. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, who while representing Epe in the Lagos State House of Assembly, and had emerged as Speaker, but seeking reelection, he moved his constituency to IKeja, and contested as a constituent from Ikeja.

Nigeria is a developing country, and our democracy is on the trajectory of development, so we shouldn't allow sentimental blackmail, cheap propaganda and all sort of unfounded claims destroy our quest for good governance and good life.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola FCA YAYI is the aspirant to beat in the race to occupy the seat of Ogun West in the 10th Senate, he is well loved across the 59 wards in Ogun West, his popularity is unprecedented, and the common see in him, the right man for the job at hand in Senate. Rather than resort to wicked politicking, I implore his co-aspirants to work hard to meet him at the primaries, and stop seeking a fruitless disqualification of his ambition.
