*Her Key Political Focus in Ado Odo-Ota:*

Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okunoyejo is preparing to re-contest for the House of Representatives, representing the Ado Odo-Ota constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), with the goal of increasing her visibility and influence within her constituency and Awori domains.

*To foster national advancement:*

“Agriculture remains the most viable source of income, given Nigeria’s agrarian economy, which has been overshadowed by the oil sector. Having spent considerable time in Igbesa, I grasped the terrain’s potential, much like the late Awolowo envisioned during the Western region’s establishment of vast farmlands in the Awori community, which still persist today due to a lack of significant development beyond farming”. “Ado Odo-Ota’s diverse community, featuring Obas and semi-Obas, faces challenges in communication that impede collective progress. However, the region’s distinct cultural heritage, including the vibrant Egungun festival, highlights masquerade traditions that promote community interaction, as evident during my visit to Imeko, where I captured a memorable photograph with the first Aare Ona Kakanfo’s statues”.

In her conclusion, she voiced her discontent with the portrayal of women’s political dedication, emphasizing that women were entirely excluded.
