…..Kenny Jones Designs Hosts Fashion Show with Latest innovation in the (Fabric) Fashion industry

Prominent fashion mogul, Kenny Jones dazzled hundreds of crowd on Monday, 21st of April, 2025 with a three-in-one event that featured a fashion show, an annual resurrection praise and the launch of a highly inspirational album titled ‘Shekere Mi Da’’

Held in the heart of Lagos, Ikeja, the 3-in-1 event was well attended by very important personalities from different sectors of the country. These personalities included men of God, traditional rulers, musicial artistes, to mention but a few.

As Kenny Jones is known for unique fashion designs which has made him the favourite designer for top individuals including Senator Adeola Solomon ‘Yayi’, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Wale Adefarasin, among a host of others, the fashion show featured an exhibition of newly-inspired styles, classy looking fabrics with posh fittings.

Speaking about the reason behind the 3-in-1 event, Kenny Jones, with his Twin, Taiwo Jones, cited God the father, son and the holy spirit, while explaining the inspiration that informed the title of their album, ‘Shekere Mi Da’.

He noted that he was at Pastor Wale Adefarasin’s residence where he is a regular visitor when he cited ‘Shekere’, an instrument of praise. He noted that he played with it and posted a picture of him with the instrument which later became the inspiration behind the album.

“I went to pastor Wale Adefarasin’s residence at a time and I saw a praise instrument, Shekere at his house. I picked it up and played with it. His wife observed me and reinstated a popular Yoruba proverb that says ‘Shekere ki n r’ode Ibanuje meaning Shekere isn’t always played in a place where they are mourning. I picked the statement and wrote is somewhere. Some days later when I uploaded a picture I took with the Shekere, one lady whom I know well commented and said ‘Kenny, Shekere Mi Da’. I didn’t respond on time and she called me later to ask for her Shekere. These are the inspirations behind this album.”

While speaking about the personality of Kenny Jones, Pastor Wale Adefarasin disclosed that the fashion mogul has discovered secrets that continue to strengthen him in everything he does. The clergymen noted that Jesus is fashionable and that Kenny Jones’ career is clearly on the right path.

“Kenny Jones, Continue with your fashion because Jesus is fashionable. I’m going to share the secret Kenny discovered which has been helping him. Jesus said “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength……”, This is the secret Kenny discovered because everytime he lifts his voice and grab the shekere, strength begins to come. . Perfected praise is complete praise so if you can reach that plays where you can praise God no matter the circumstance, God will strengthen you.”

Likewise, the chairman of the event, Chief Doctor Ambrose Somide described Kenny Jones as the house of quality fabrics.

“We all know Kenny Jones is the house of quality fabrics, that brings the beauty out of everyone and we all know that whatever fabric that touches the hands of Kenny Jones and his team, you can bet that they wull make the best of that. Every level of design is complete with Kenny Jones.”
