Rotarian Dr Olusegun Dave Oludayo Celebrated Birthday with the official launch of Dave and Kirti’s Care  Foundation

Distinguished humanitarian Engr. Olusegun Oludayo, today’s celebrant, had previously held the office of president at the Rotary Club of Gbagada, Lagos and left a lasting legacy of humanitarian service

The memorable event kicked off with medical evaluations being carried out on elderly women and men from individual LCDAs within the Oworonshoki community

He was joined at the birthday celebration by his allies, including Amb. Dr. Kirty Sudhanshu, founder of Dave and Kirty’s Care Foundation, and Amb. H. Thaurahi, founder of Pathok KKF Kirty’s care Foundation

The event was attended by Senator Adefuye, Oworonshoki CDA, Olota of Otta, Oba Lanlege, Kabiesi of Oworonshoki, Alaketu of Kettu, Oloshoro of Oshoro kingdom, a distinguished Aniwura Iyalode, Aduni Kazeem from Ogun State, Asiwaju of Oworonshoki, a distinguished Gambian lady, and several prominent societal figures from Rotary Club of Gbagada, Oworonshoki

In a brief yet remarkable message, Professor Nubi, a pastor from the University of Lagos, captivated the audience with a reference to the book of Psalms, where David emphasized the importance of numbering our days, and shared that he had just turned 54, an age he deeply values. Further teaching emphasizes that as we grow older, some activities and tasks become harder to accomplish with ease since everything has its appointed time. He also expressed gratitude to God for the blessings bestowed upon the Oworonshoki community, and he also made reference to widows and widowers, emphasizing the importance of reaching out to these individuals

In his final note, he prayed that today would be a joyous and remarkable day in the lives of individuals and the entire Oworonshoki community, as his special prayers extended further in a prayer of thanksgiving on behalf of the celebrant, Dr. Engr. Olusegun Oludayo, for his longevity

Following the professor’s prayer, a Muslim cleric was approached to perform an Islamic prayer since the gathering consisted of both religions

Furthermore, Dr. Niyi Adeleye, chairman of the planning committee, delivered his welcome address. Dr. Niyi’s introductory address recognized Dr. Egr. Olusegun Oludayo’s substantial influence on philanthropy and humanitarian services, highlighting that this exceptional celebration and empowerment program for widows, widowers, and the community marked its fifth edition, with anticipated continued progress, and was pioneering meaningful change in Lagos and surrounding regions, with the official presentation of all CDA community chairmen

To make the event a glamorous and momentum remarkable one, a physically challenged woman of great beauty gave a 15-minute presentation from the podium

Rotarian Oluwafemi Adenekan, District President of the Rotary Club of Gbagada, Oworonshoki area, gave a brief address in which he commended fellow Rotarian members for their proficiency, relentless proactiveness, and commitment to community progress

After that, Adeshina cultural dancers were invited to the podium for their special presentation. Following the empowerment of women through the presentation of sewing machines, grinding machines, hand dryers, and other items, Rotarian Oluwafemi Adenekan anchored that section. After that, the cutting of the birthday cake was formally coordinated

Just before Olota of Otta Oba Lanlege’s departure, he addressed the crowd, commending the celebrant as his long-time friend and a humanitarian of exceptional caliber, while encouraging the beneficiaries to make the most judicious use of the donated items, and also donated a plot of land to support the Dave Care, Kirty Foundations

Dr. Enr. Olusegun Oludayo, Founder of Dave Care and Kirty’s Care Foundation, presented a brief speech and vote of thanks, attributing the empowerment program’s five-year success to God Almighty’s guidance. He emphasized its profound humanitarian impact on the community, which has significant attention. As over 25 million Nigerians face disabilities, this initiative is crucial in providing essential healthcare services to numerous Nigerians and Africans, enhancing their well-being. Dr. Oludayo expressed gratitude to all attendees

The event, which officially began at 10:30am with over 500 attendees, including dignitaries, was conducted under maximum security to protect all individuals in attendance and concluded with dancing until 6pm.
