ZAMFARA POLITICS: COUNT ME OUT FROM CONTESTING 2027 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION” SAYS MEMBER REPRESENTING BUNGUDU/ MARU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
A Federal Lawmaker representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu, has reputed claim by an online blogger that he was contesting for the position of Zamfara State Gov during the 2027 elections.
In a statement issued by the federal lawmaker, the Zannan Bungudu distanced himself from the claim and analysis by the blogger, saying his political faith depended on the decision of his political leaders in the state, Minister Bello Matawalle and Sen Abdulaziz Yari comes 2027.
The Hon member said he would never contest against his leaders in the coming election as mistakenly analysed by a Zamfara based online blogger, “Thunder Blower”.
In the statement which was made available to our news room, Honourable Abdulmalik Zubairu denied the rumours being spread on various media platforms about his intention to run for Zamfara state governorship in the forth coming 2027 election.

and further called on his supporters to see his humanitarian support services being rendered to his constituents as what he learned from his two political
Mentors, the Former governor of the State Distinguished Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari, and the immediate past governor of the state, His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle now the Honourable Minister of State for Defence who he described as his political leaders.
” I would like our supporters across the 14 Local governments areas of the state to understand the fact that we have to deliver our great party, the APC Promises and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda to our electorates.
“We also have to understand the fact that APC as a party in Zamfara State is one family and we must work towards respecting it supremacy when the electioneering winds blows come 2027 but count me out from running the seat of Zamfara State governor please,” Said Honourable Abdulmalik Zubairu (Zannan Bungudu) in the Telephone Conversation.
“I urge all of us to collectively work together as Zamfara State APC Loyalists to restrengthen our Party and work for it’s Victory in 2027, Abdul Malik appeals to all APC Supporters in Zamfara.
Hon, Abdulmalik Zubairu warned APC Supporters in the State to ignore believing or listening to some propaganda alleged to have been sponsored by our party enemies in the State as it will not succeed nor work.
