2027 ELECTIONS: DEFENCE MINISTER RECEIVES CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION FROM TINUBU SECOND TERM MANDATE ZAMFARA STATE CHAPTER
Defence Minister Bello Mohammed Matawalle has received a cheque of ₦23,242,000 as campaign support from the Northwest President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Second Term Mandate, Zamfara State Chapter, under the leadership of Dr. Al’amin Tsafe.
Presenting the cheque to His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle at his country home in Maradun Local Government Area, Dr. Tsafe stated:
“Your Excellency Sir, it is my singular honour and privilege to present this cheque on behalf of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Second Term Mandate, Zamfara State Chapter. This contribution is intended to support Mr. President’s second term mandate. The funds were realised through voluntary donations from political loyalists, among whom was Hajiya Suwaiba, an 88-year old woman who graciously donated ₦500.”
In his response, Defence Minister Matawalle expressed sincere gratitude to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Second Term Mandate Coalition for their generous gesture and pledged to personally deliver the cheque to Mr. President upon his return from the Eid break.
In a related development, it has been reliably gathered that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Second Term Mandate groups from Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Katsina, Sokoto, and Jigawa States are scheduled to present their respective donations to Defence Minister Bello Mohammed Matawalle next week.
