Ojomu Royal Family Probes Illegal Land Sales in Ajiran, Denounces Unauthorized Dealers

The royal family of Ojomu in Ajiran land, Lagos state have commenced investigation into all atrocious sale of family land in the community and and denounced all purported sale of of land by unauthorized individuals in their land.
A statement by the Oba of Ajiran land, HRH Tijani Adetunji Akinloye , OON, and the Balogun of the land, Alhaji Yekini Olawale Bakare stated that some unscrupulous people with no right or title to their land have been purporting to sell portions of their land to unsuspecting buyers and cautioned that the family can no longer afford to relocate genuine purchasers as no land is available for relocation.
According to the strongly worded statement, Ajiran land is a vast area of land described in plan No. CT/55/55 of 5/5/55 and it belongs to the family known as (Ojomu Chieftaincy Family). “Their title has been confirmed by several judgements and statutory documents.
“Let it be noted that the royal family is very much involved in the investigation regarding the murders of Prince Sherrif Isola Salami on April 18th, 2023 and Prince Ademola Akinloye on August 26th, 2024.
“The two murders were carried out in broad day light within the Ojomu Community. This investigation is to ensure that murderers do not roam freely in our kingdom and the subjects of our kingdom can live their lives without fear.
” The royal family also requires this investigation to give closure to the family and justice for the victims of the above mentioned atrocities.
“The royal family is currently investigating all atrocious sale of family land by one Hamed Tajudeen Akanbi. Let it be clear that all transactions relating to the Ojomu royal family’s land are done on special papers with security features.
Consequently, the general public is warned and people forging the family’s title deeds and principal member’s signature will be eventually caught and brought before the law.
“We also wish to inform the general public that the royal family denounces all the purported sales of land by Hamed Tajudeen Akanbi, Wasiu Yekini Akinsemoyin and all those parading themselves as Ojomu Youth Forum, Ojomu Family Council or whatever name they parade themselves as they have no authority whatsoever to deal in the Ojomu Royal Family’s land. The general public is warned to be wary of transactions in land with these two persons and their cohorts who do not have the authority to deal in the Ojomu Royal Family’s land.
“We also advise the various people who have purchased land from the accredited representatives of the family to take possession of their land forthwith. This is necessary because some unscrupulous people with no right or title to the land have been purporting to sell portions thereof to unsuspecting third parties.
“In the past, the family had relocated genuine purchasers who lost their land as a result of the activities of these unscrupulous people.
The family can no longer afford to relocate genuine purchasers indeed, no land is available for relocation, hence notice given to all genuine purchasers to take possession of their land.
The Ojomu family has made a statement that is clear and ready to toll the lines of law in not only addressing the murderer of Ajiran Prince’s and bring the culprits to book and allow the law to take it’s cause, however , land-grabbing law remain in force in Lagos State.
