CRG noted that Governor Alia, as the sitting governor and highest-ranking APC official in the state, deserves the cooperation and support of party stakeholders rather than actions that could deepen internal divisions. The group also urged Senator Akume to concentrate on his national responsibilities as Secretary to the Government of the Federation and allow the governor the political space needed to govern effectively.

CRG further called on the national leadership of the APC and party elders to intervene quickly to restore unity and prevent the crisis from escalating, stressing that prolonged factional battles within ruling parties often weaken governance and ultimately affect the citizens.
