TINUBU 2027: HUNYE RALLIES OGUN RESIDENTS FOR CONTINUITY, UNITY AND DEVELOPMENT UNDER RENEWED HOPE AGENDA
Hon. Abayomi Semako Hunye, popularly known as Ogidi Omo Ogun West, has called on the people of Ogun State and Nigerians across the country to unite behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, urging peaceful mobilisation and sustained grassroots engagement in support of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Hon. Hunye said continuity in leadership, coupled with courage, purposeful governance and a clear development vision, remains essential to building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
According to him, the journey towards national development requires collective commitment, political stability and the determination to sustain policies and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.
“Leadership is about continuity, courage and the determination to build a stronger future for generations to come. As we look towards 2027, I call on the good people of Ogun State and Nigerians across the country to remain united, mobilise peacefully and sustain our commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Hunye stated.
The APC Gubernatorial aspirant emphasised that building lasting political support requires more than public declarations, noting that effective grassroots mobilisation, direct engagement with citizens and active participation in the democratic process are critical to achieving shared political objectives.
“Our task is clear: we must take the message to every community, engage our people, strengthen our grassroots structures and translate our collective support into purposeful democratic participation. The future we desire demands unity, commitment and action,” he said.
Hunye further urged political stakeholders, community leaders, party faithful and supporters across Ogun State to work together peacefully, deepen engagement at the grassroots and encourage greater participation in the democratic process.
He maintained that the vision of a stronger Nigeria must be anchored on unity, sustained development and opportunities that benefit citizens across different communities and social groups.
As political activities ahead of the 2027 general election gradually gather momentum, Hunye called on residents of Ogun State to remain actively engaged in shaping the country’s democratic future through peaceful participation and constructive political engagement.
He reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid, stressing that unity of purpose and sustained engagement would be vital to advancing the Renewed Hope vision.
