Prof Segun Adeyemi birthday this year is unique and extra special as the Gentle Ife Olukotun Son of the Soil, is marking his 60th birthday in grand style.

Words cannot fully capture your impact in my life. How can I forget your fatherly care for me in Ilorin, Kwara State, when you stood by me as I sat for GCE twice? Or your relentless commitment that secured my admission into Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto — the very foundation of who I am today? If I begin to count your sacrifices, night will fall, yet we will still be counting, Prof you are my hero sir
The truth is simple and undeniable: I am where I am today because of your love, guidance, and belief in me. Thank you, Professor.
Beyond me, your impact on countless youths in Kogi State, especially in Okun land, is immeasurable. You have raised leaders and given hope.
