Lagos stood still as celebrities storm Lekki for the burial of the son of first duly elected Local government chairman of Epe Local Government

It was all celebration of life as who in who in society within Lagos, Nigeria and oversees all gathered together to celebrate the outstanding life of PA. Adebayo Japhet Adegboyega -Conde JP, an outstanding educator, and a fulfilled Chief brewer during his life time

Pa Adegboyega -Conde , whose father hailed from a distinguished lineage, was born into a wealthy merchant who traded between Lagos, Epe and European countries, particularly France.

Pa Adegboyega -Conde whose father was the first duly elected Local Government chairman of Epe Local Government, humorously , decline his first opportunity job at the Daily Times of Nigeria, given excuses on not being keen on frequent transfers across the country.

He later found his calling at Nigerian Breweries, where he distinguished himself as a chief brewer. His commitment to workers’ rights became evident during his tenure as the Secretary -General of the Nigerian Breweries Labor Union. In his role, he fought tirelessly for better working conditions, often finding himself at odds with the management due to his unwavering dedication to advocating for his colleagues.
However, his passion for education manifested itself when in 1976, he made a pivotal career shift to education. He enrolled in the COSIT course at the University of Lagos.
Armed with the certificate pa Adegboyega -Conde began his teaching journey at Nigeria Premier College in Jibowu, Yaba, Lagos where he taught English Literature from 1977 to 1983.
In January 1984,he relocated with his family to Ipaja, Lagos and accepted a position at State High School, Alimosho, Lagos State. There he impacted his knowledge of English Language and English Literature to his students, leaving a profound and lasting impact on all he taught.
Elougising his late father , the first born of the Icon , Dr. Adetunji James Ade -Conde, termed his father as man of ” remarkable discipline and intergity”

In his words
” My father , Pa Adebayo Japhet Adegboyega -Conde was a man of remarkable discipline and intergity. A strict disciplinarian, he was always law -abiding, and carried himself with a deep sense of respect for everyone around him”

On hand to paid their last respect to Pa Adebayo Japhet Adegboyega -Conde were his students at State High school, Alimosho, Lagos State where he thought English Language and English Literature. Led by its governor, the 1988 set ( Buddies) Pastor James Omotayo Agbogun described Ade-Conde as a teacher, and a mentor
