Amala Eko Set to Feed Over 10,000 Residents in Ikeja on December 24th, 2026

In the spirit of the yuletide season and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), popular Afro-fusion restaurant brand, Amala Eko, has announced plans to feed over 10,000 Lagosians residing in the Ikeja area on December 24th, 2026.
The initiative, according to the management, is aimed at touching lives, spreading love, and complementing the efforts of the Lagos State Government in cushioning the effects of economic hardship and poverty in the land.
Speaking on the forthcoming outreach, the management of Amala Eko disclosed that the food distribution will cover major areas within Ikeja Constituency, including Ikeja Central, Ojodu Berger, and Onigbongbo. Beneficiaries will receive both raw food materials and freshly cooked meals as palliative support during the festive season.
According to the management, the outreach is also a token of appreciation to the good people of Ikeja for their massive acceptance and unwavering support for the Amala Eko brand since its emergence in the area.
“What we intend to do is to bring back the missing link through our local delicacies. Amala Eko is one of the finest meals of the Yorubas, we must promote it and let the world know its health importance to humanity,” the management stated.
The brand emphasized that beyond business, it is committed to community development and social impact. The December 24th event, which coincides with Christmas Eve, is designed to ensure that no family in the targeted areas goes hungry during the celebration.
Amala Eko has, over the years, distinguished itself as a leading Afro-fusion restaurant brand celebrated for its authentic, freshly made Àmàlà and Abula (a combination of Gbegiri and Ewedu soup), rich Ofada rice, smoky party Jollof, and an array of sizzling Nigerian soups served in a clean, culturally rich, and welcoming environment.
With branches fast becoming a household name in Lagos, the restaurant has continued to promote Yoruba culinary heritage while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and excellent customer service.
The management further assured that the Ikeja outreach is just one of many humanitarian activities lined up for the yuletide season, as the brand remains committed to giving back to society.
Residents, community leaders, and stakeholders have already lauded the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful, especially at a time when many families need support.
The event is scheduled to hold on December 24th, 2026, and will feature music, cultural displays, and direct engagement with beneficiaries.
