The Chris Okafor World Outreach Ministries, COWOM, under the spiritual leadership of the Generational Prophet of God, Dr. Chris Okafor, Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Worldwide, has taken the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Makoko Community in Lagos.

The outreach was another demonstration of the ministry’s mandate: to take the good news to the unreached, the forgotten, and the marginalized, reaffirming that Jesus Christ is the only Savior sent to the world to save, protect, and deliver every child of God from the power of the devil.

A MESSAGE OF HOPE TO MAKOKO

Addressing a large gathering of residents, traders, and youths in the waterfront settlement, the Popular Lagos Prophet charged the people to anchor their lives on Christ.

The Generational Prophet said:
“To achieve greatness in life, the first step you must take is to genuinely give your life to Christ. When you do that, every other good thing that God has planned for you will begin to locate you. Your beginning may be small, but your end will be great.”

Dr Chris Okafor further encouraged the Makoko residents to see their location not as a limitation, but as a strategic position ordained by God.

“God is everywhere. Your location is not a problem for God to reach you. When you are genuinely born again and serve your God with all your heart, God will touch you in a very special way right where you are. Makoko will be a testimony ground,” the Generational Prophet declared.

The atmosphere was charged as many residents gave their lives to Christ, while others testified to instant healings, deliverance, and breakthroughs during prayers.

COWOM: TAKING THE GOSPEL BEYOND THE FOUR WALLS

The Makoko Outreach is in line with the vision of COWOM to preach the gospel, heal the sick, and meet the needs of vulnerable communities across Nigeria and beyond.

Residents expressed gratitude to the Generational Prophet Dr. Chris Okafor and Grace Nation Global for remembering them. Many described the visit as “the first time a major ministry came to preach and pray for us without asking for anything.”

The outreach also featured prayer for families, business owners, and students in the community, with a prophetic declaration of transformation upon Makoko.
