Filmmaker Akorede Adebowale throws cap into the political ring

Nigerian filmmaker Akorede Adebowale aka Obj has thrown his hat into the political ring ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The filmmaker and media consultant with over 20 years industrial experience is determined to put his money where his mouth is.

Adebowale, the National Secretary of TAMPAN Guild of Directors has decided to contest for the Oyo State House of Assembly.

Set to contest under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and represent Iwajowa Local Government, Oyo State, Adebowale noted that he intends to bring human capital development and focus on talent discovery in the constituency.

“I want to bring Human Capital Development in the area of Talent discovery, Development and Deployment. The most important thing for me are my people, their social security and wellbeing is sure under my leadership.”
