FORMER NAOWA PRESIDENT EXPRESSES HEARTFELT GRATITUDE TO GUESTS AFTER DAUGHTER’S WEDDING
Former National President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Hajiya Ummakulthum Tukur Buratai, has expressed profound appreciation to family members, friends, associates and well-wishers who attended the wedding ceremonies of her beloved daughter, describing their overwhelming support as a source of immense joy and encouragement.
In a message of appreciation issued on behalf of the Buratai family, Hajiya Ummakulthum thanked everyone who honoured the family with their presence, prayers, goodwill messages, generous gifts and various acts of kindness throughout the wedding celebrations.
She noted that the remarkable show of love from guests, whether they travelled from within or outside the country, volunteered behind the scenes, or supported the family through prayers, contributed immensely to the success and memorable nature of the occasion.
“Your presence, kind words, prayers, generous gifts, and countless acts of love and support meant more to us than words can express,” she stated, adding that every gesture of goodwill was deeply cherished by the family.
Hajiya Ummakulthum offered heartfelt prayers for all those who identified with the family during the celebrations, asking Almighty Allah to reward them abundantly for their kindness and generosity.
She also prayed for the newly married couple, seeking Allah’s blessings upon their union, protection from all harm, enduring peace, mutual love and understanding, righteous offspring, and steadfastness in faith and obedience to Allah.
