Esv. Ayodeji Ejalonibu Amodu, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Housing, participated in a high-level boardroom session focused on leveraging urban property markets to drive Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) growth in Nigeria. Organized by the Federation of International Real Estate (FIABCI) Nigeria, the session addressed strategies for integrating local content and aligning policy frameworks with the African and global economy.

With Esv. Akin Opatola, President of FIABCI Nigeria, leading the session, discussions centered on creating property market playbooks that encourage SME growth by fostering policies that support local enterprises while aligning with international economic standards. Key topics included enhancing access to property markets for SMEs and promoting policies that align with Nigeria’s economic landscape and broader African development goals.

The meeting underscored the importance of real estate in economic development, particularly in boosting SMEs and promoting local industry growth. Esv. Ejalonibu Amodu emphasized that robust, locally focused property market policies are crucial for building sustainable economic frameworks that support both local SMEs and the national economy. The event marks a significant step in strengthening collaboration between real estate professionals and policy makers to foster economic resilience and growth.
