In preparation for Iganmode Club 50 year Anniversary Celebration, a prominent social club in the Ado/odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, a press briefing was held on Tuesday, 7th January 2025
At the official press conference, the club’s president, Chief jide ojuko ,The Chairman 50th Years Anniversary Otunba Bolaji Oyedeko and other Executive of the club were in attendance, ensuring the press were fully briefed on the upcoming one-week-long run event, which subtly commenced with a press conference on Tuesday, 7th January 2025

The esteemed Iganmode Club of Ota, comprising a distinguished membership of prominent individuals within and beyond the Ota axis, formally launches its programme of events with a scheduled lecture on Tuesday, 14th January, 2025, designed to enhance the lives of Ota residents and club members
Following this, some trained medical doctors will provide the community with free medical tests, covering diabetes and blood-sugar tests, blood pressure checks, eye screening, and free reading classes. This will be a collaborative effort with Lions Club International, Ota West, District 404B4 on Tuesday, 14th January, 2025
According to the President’s narrative, the grand finale of the meticulously planned event is expected to be a remarkable and memorable experience. The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Senator Yayi, former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, the Olota of Ota, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, the Ota Council Chairman, and other dignitaries are scheduled to officially present on Saturday, 18th January, 2025, at the Iganmode Club Ota premises, promising a fun-filled experience as all roads converge on Ota, Ogun State

Chief jide Ojuko said that Iganmode Ota club is made up mainly of outstanding men of honour and high repute, with the reason for restricting women’s membership known only to the club, as it goes against the club’s ethics

As the president noted, it is an established fact that the Iganmode Club of Ota has never sought financial support or assistance from any politician or public personality for the club’s sustainability throughout its history. All of Iganmode’s assets have been acquired through internal contributions, with individuals providing generous donations to support the club’s activities, and this has continued without any issues or complaints from Iganmode Club members thus far
When further asked about the qualifications for membership
The Club President Chief jide ojuko said The Iganmode Club Ota has been found to not prioritize individuals’ financial resources when considering new membership applications. The club instead employs a rigorous evaluation and investigation process for prospective members, dismissing those with stigmatizing tendencies, regardless of their social standing.
The club values associating with individuals who maintain impeccable records, untainted by any fraudulent activities, past or present.
To ensure the club’s continued commitment to lawfulness and defect-free membership, it maintains partnerships with the PCRC and other security agencies.
Prospective members are required to pay a registration fee of N250,000, followed by additional procedures, before being officially recognized as full members
As indicated in the closing remarks, this special 50th anniversary celebration is expected to have a maximum security guarantee, and great anticipation surrounds it.
