LAA President Calls for Stronger Cross-Border Partnerships at M&P’s 10th Anniversary
The President of the League of African Ambassadors (LAA), Ambassador Nwanne Ominyi, has stressed the need for sustainable and long-term institutional partnerships across Africa to drive growth and development on the continent.
Speaking at the 10th-anniversary celebration of M&P, Ambassador Ominyi said the future belongs to institutions that prioritize genuine and enduring partnerships rather than short-term, transactional relationships.
According to him, meaningful collaborations must extend beyond national borders, markets, and communities to unlock Africa’s full potential and accelerate regional integration.
The LAA President commended M&P for its decade-long commitment to excellence, consistency, and responsiveness to the needs of the region, describing the organisation as a model of impactful partnership-building.
He noted that Africa is on a path of transformation and growth, emphasizing that organisations capable of connecting people, businesses, and opportunities across the continent would play increasingly strategic roles in shaping the future.
“Africa is rising, and institutions that connect people and opportunities across the continent will become more important than ever before,” Ominyi stated.
He urged stakeholders across both the public and private sectors to embrace collaborative frameworks that promote sustainable development, economic prosperity, and shared progress across Africa.
The event formed part of activities marking M&P’s 10 years of operations and contributions to regional development and institutional advancement.
