LAGOS TASKFORCE ARRESTS 26, RECOVERS DRUGS IN V.I, OBALENDE CLEAN-UP
The Lagos State Taskforce today, Thursday 23rd July 2026, commenced a clean-up operation to rid the state of miscreants, drug peddlers, illegal Okada riders, street traders and other criminal elements.
The operation covered Muri-Okunola Park, V.I* and Obalende Underbridge.
26 suspects were arrested and substances suspected to be *Indian Hemp, Colorado* and other hard drugs were recovered.
Normalcy has been restored in the areas.
All suspects will be charged to court in line with the Lagos State Environmental Laws 2017 and Transport Sector Reform Laws 2018.
