One of Africa’s most recognized grassroots leaders is Hon. Dr. Bernard Shiaunda Aete, formerly known as “Dume.”
As the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) aspirant for Kisumu Central Constituency, Dr. Aete has made significant contributions to the development of his community. His track record includes projects in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and infrastructure aimed at improving the daily lives of his constituents.
Beyond politics, Dr. Aete is also active in the financial and legal sectors. He is a known advocate for data privacy and accountability, having previously filed complaints with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner to protect citizens’ rights.
