Following the just concluded Nationwide All progressive congress APC Presidential Primaries which president Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged victorious with more than 10million votes, so many Zamfara State APC stakeholders question Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari political loyalists for deliberately refusing to participate in the process across the 14 local government areas of Zamfara State.
Zamfaranewsleters gathered that, two days to the presidential primaries so many activities took place in 147 wards of the State by the stakeholders to strategize only to noticed the absence of Distinguished Senator Abdul Aziz Yari representatives which the stakeholders tagged as the Senator preparation for Anti party for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Further investigations confirmed that, Senator Yari was not happy with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not allowing his Candidate Mukhtar Idris (Kogunan Gusau) to participate in gubernatorial primaries with His Excellency governor Dauda Lawal who’s the State Stakeholders endorsed as their prepared candidate.
A closed ally to Senator Abdul Aziz Yari Babangida popularly known as (Zannan Damba) who as well contested Gusaus/Tsafe Federal Constituency and subsequently lost to Kabiru Ahmadu Mai palace held series of meetings calling for his supporters to boycott presidential primaries and adopt the Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar Abubakar as their prepared presidential candidate for 2027 general elections.
Indications at Senator Abdul Aziz Yari grassroots followers shows that, any moment from now smaller political parties will receive many diehard of Yari’s to ventelate their anger in contesting positions they were unable to secure in APC .
