3rd Lady Captain Inaugural Golf Kitty: TYB-IGRCC Ladies Section Set to Make History
The Ladies Section of the Tukur Yusufu Buratai International Golf Resort and Country Club (TYB-IGRCC) is pleased to announce the historic Inaugural Golf Kitty of its 3rd Lady Captain, Ms. Jumai Hajara Adamu, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 5th September 2026, at the club’s premises in Abuja.
This investiture is a landmark event, as Ms. Adamu makes history as the first civilian Lady Captain to lead the Ladies Section, following two distinguished military predecessors. The event, themed “Visionary Leadership, Unity, and Excellence,” is designed to celebrate not only the transition of leadership but also the growing influence of women in the sport of golf.
The Inaugural Golf Kitty is expected to attract a diverse gathering of golfers, dignitaries, and sports enthusiasts from within and beyond the Federal Capital Territory.
