BOOK LAUNCH: “MEET PRESIDENT TINUBU AND HIS 52 MANAGERS OF THE ECONOMY” TO SHOWCASE RENEWED HOPE AGENDA AND ECONOMIC REFORMS

The book MEET PRESIDENT TINUBU AND HIS 52 MANAGERS OF THE ECONOMY: Profiles in Leadership, Economic Strategy and Public-Private Sector Partnership for the Renewed Hope Agenda, authored by Otunba Dare Adelekan and published by Probe Communications Ltd, will be formally launched in Abuja at a ceremony expected to bring together leaders from government, business, the diplomatic community, the media and other sectors of Nigerian society.
The Special Guest of Honour at the occasion will be His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose administration and economic reform programme constitute the central focus of the publication.
The book is conceived as both a documentation of leadership and economic management and an appreciation of the people driving the policies and programmes of the Renewed Hope Agenda. It profiles the President and key members of his economic management architecture, examining their backgrounds, professional accomplishments, leadership philosophies and contributions to the administration’s economic transformation programme.
According to the Chairman of the Editorial Board, His Excellency Ambassador Ayuba Jacob Ngbako, the publication is intended to provide Nigerians and the international community with a comprehensive account of the personalities, strategies and institutions involved in the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This book is more than a collection of biographies. It is an attempt to document an important period in Nigeria’s economic history by showcasing the leadership, ideas, policies and partnerships shaping the Renewed Hope Agenda. It provides an opportunity to examine the people behind the policies and the responsibilities they have undertaken in managing the Nigerian economy,” Ambassador Ngbako said.
The publication focuses particularly on the administration’s efforts to reposition the Nigerian economy through economic reforms, institutional strengthening, investment promotion, revenue mobilisation, infrastructure development, financial-sector transformation and enhanced public-private sector collaboration.
It also highlights the increasingly important role of the private sector in Nigeria’s economic development and the efforts of government to create an environment capable of attracting investment, stimulating production, expanding employment opportunities and promoting sustainable economic growth.
The book’s central theme is that effective economic transformation requires not only sound policies but also competent leadership, institutional coordination and a productive partnership between government and the private sector.
Author Otunba Dare Adelekan, a veteran publisher, public affairs commentator and public relations practitioner, said the publication was motivated by the need to document contemporary Nigerian leadership and preserve a historical record of the people entrusted with the responsibility of managing the country’s economy at a critical period.
“History must record not only the policies of an administration but also the men and women who were entrusted with the responsibility of translating those policies into programmes and measurable outcomes. This book is our contribution to that historical documentation,” Otunba Adelekan said.
He added that the publication seeks to encourage informed public discussion about Nigeria’s economic direction while providing readers with insights into the professional and leadership profiles of the individuals working to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Abuja launch is expected to attract prominent political leaders, senior government officials, members of the National Assembly, captains of industry, chief executives of major corporations, development partners, members of the diplomatic corps, academics, media executives and other distinguished Nigerians.
The book, MEET PRESIDENT TINUBU AND HIS 52 MANAGERS OF THE ECONOMY, is published by Probe Communications Ltd, a Nigerian publishing and public relations company with a longstanding interest in documenting the lives, leadership and contributions of prominent Nigerians.
The organisers believe the publication will serve as a valuable reference for researchers, students of public policy and political economy, business leaders, journalists, historians and future generations seeking to understand the leadership and economic strategies of the Tinubu administration.
