FGCKOSA Cooperative Launches Landmark N100 Million Loan Facility at Unprecedented 6.5% Interest Rate
The Federal Government College Kano Old Students Association (FGCKOSA) has announced a groundbreaking initiative through its newly incorporated cooperative society, signaling a new era of empowerment for its members worldwide.
In a bold move designed to foster economic growth among alumni, the FGCKOSA COOPERATIVE has deposited ONE HUNDRED MILLION NAIRA (N100,000,000.00) into its cooperative account with immediate effect. The funds are earmarked for disbursement as loans to qualifying members at an astonishingly low interest rate of 6.5% per annum, with a commitment to process applications and disburse funds within 12 hours.
This initiative, championed by the Global and National President, Shoyinka Shodunke (popularly known as ShoBoy), alongside other dedicated alumni, breaks the conventional cooperative mold. Typically, cooperatives wait years to accumulate wealth before extending credit. In contrast, the FGCKOSA Cooperative is issuing loans from day one.
According to Shoyinka Shodunke, Global and National President, FGCKOSA:

By deploying N100 million from day one at 6.5% per annum, we are giving our members a fighting chance in an economy where bank loans hover around 33%.
