High Chief Samuel Elijah Speaks on Improved Madosi Charity Programme
As Madosi Widows Empowerment Transitions to Madosi Elevate Foundation Hub_
The Chief Executive Officer of Madosi, *High Chief Samuel Elijah*, has announced major improvements to the organization’s annual empowerment program.
Speaking on the changes, High Chief Elijah disclosed that the program has been rebranded.
> “We have changed the name from _Madosi Widows Empowerment Programme_ to _Madosi Elevate Foundation Hub_. The target remains the same — empowering people — and the date has not changed. The empowerment will still hold in December,” he said.
According to him, the new _Madosi Elevate Foundation Hub_ is set to empower nearly 100 beneficiaries across different categories of need.
> “For those selling pepper and food items, we want to buy them grinding machines. For those in fashion, we will equip them with sewing machines. For those in food business, we will provide deep freezers. And for those who need business capital, we will provide cash to start their businesses,” he explained.
He added that an application form will be made available for interested individuals to fill and submit.
> “From the forms, we will review each request and determine the kind of support to render to each person.”
*A Call to Well-Meaning Nigerians*
High Chief Elijah used the opportunity to appeal to individuals and organizations in positions to help.
> “There are so many people out there crying for help and for food. Government should not be left alone. If you have the capacity, please come out and help those in need. Government is doing its best, but we must assist government. I also appeal to privileged people in communities and societies to organize programs like this. Only God can reward you.”
*Expansion Beyond Ogun State*
He noted that while this year’s program will focus on beneficiaries in Ogun State, the initiative is no longer limited to one state.
> “For now, we have over 100 names on our list. We have people from Lagos, Ogba, and other locations. Though the December program is for Ogun State people, by next year we plan to move it fully to Lagos.”
He further clarified that the program is no longer restricted to widows and the elderly alone.
> “We started with widows, widowers, and elderly people. But now we are extending it to others — especially those with families they cannot feed. The need is broad, so our reach must also be broad.”

High Chief Elijah also appreciated the team working behind the scenes to ensure the success of the program.
> “We have dedicated people working tirelessly. Pastor Ibitoye Kolade is the Chief Coordinator, Pastor Vincent Adegbulugbe is the PA to the Chairman & Coordinator, and Pastor Mrs. Akin is also a Coordinator. I sincerely appreciate them all.”
