The much-anticipated Mid-Year Crossover Conference 2026 has commenced in grand style at the international headquarters of Grace Nation Worldwide, also known as the Liberation City, in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
The 4-day, power-packed spiritual gathering is designed to transport believers from the first half of 2026 into a far better, more glorious second half.
From the opening session, the atmosphere was charged with worship, praise, and mind-blowing testimonies as participants trooped in from different parts of Nigeria and beyond. The conference is expected to witness transformation, restoration, miracles, healing, deliverance, and divine solutions in the lives of all attendees.
Declaring the conference open, the Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor welcomed worshippers to what he described as “a divine appointment with destiny.” He declared that many had been on “one side for too long” — the side of struggle, delay, and stagnation — but God is ready to take them to the other side of breakthrough, victory, and all-round blessings.
Teaching on the theme “Dealing with Ungodly Transactions” Dr Chris Okafor emphasized that to experience a true mid-year crossover, believers must observe covenant principles to break out of evil transactions.
According to him, the spirit realm operates by laws, and the enemy often holds people captive through legal transactions established by sin, ignorance, ancestral covenants, and careless involvements.
“There are transactions that give the enemy legal right to afflict, delay, and keep people in perpetual bondage.
As long as that legal ground exists, the devil will continue to operate,” he said. “But when you understand covenant principles and engage them through obedience, sacrifice, and service to God, you destroy the legal hold and enforce your freedom.”
The man of God explained that a covenant is a binding agreement between two parties.
While the enemy makes evil covenants to enslave, God also makes covenants of protection, prosperity, and promotion with His people. He charged participants to consciously enter into covenant with God through kingdom service, sacrificial giving, and unwavering obedience to His word.
Dr. Okafor further taught that the mid-year point is a strategic time for spiritual audit and realignment. He urged believers to examine the transactions of their lives in the first half of the year, repent from every act that gave the enemy access, and make fresh transactions with heaven that guarantee victory in the second half.
“God is not a magician, He is a God of principles. Until you play by His principles, you cannot enjoy His promises,” he stated.
He declared that participants who would align with covenant principles would experience sudden turnaround, open doors, and unusual favor before the end of 2026.
The opening day was marked by intense prophetic ministrations, prayers for deliverance, and a session of testimonies where several worshippers shared how God had turned their situations around during previous Grace Nation programs. Many testified of healing from chronic sicknesses, job breakthroughs, marital restoration, and financial lifts after sowing seeds of faith and engaging in service.
The 4-day Mid-Year Crossover Conference 2026 will continue with sessions on breaking generational curses, destroying evil altars, financial liberty, and destiny recovery. Ministers and gospel artists are also expected to minister throughout the program.
Dr. Okafor prayed for all participants, decreeing that every evil transaction working against their progress be nullified by the blood of Jesus.
